CHAMBER CHORALE
Timothy Snyder, director.

The Boulder Chamber Chorale furthers the mission of the Chorale by providing an opportunity for interested members to learn, study and perform choral works composed for small ensemble. Selected by audition each year in August, members of the Chamber Chorale are full and enthusiastic singing members of the Boulder Chorale (large choir) who meet regularly for additional rehearsal time beyond normally scheduled BC rehearsals. We perform a varied repertoire of works for small ensemble ranging from Renaissance polyphony and Baroque chamber music to works by contemporary composers.

Most Chamber Chorale rehearsals are at Atonement Lutheran Church on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:15, after which the Chamber Chorale rejoins the BC (large choir) and rehearses until 9:30.

For details and dress rehearsals, see the calendar.

NOTE: On any Tuesday evening when a Chamber Chorale rehearsal is not scheduled but a BC rehearsal is scheduled, all Chamber Chorale members will observe the normal BC rehearsal schedule, 7:00 to 9:30. One day of this type will be Tuesday, March 28, 2006; others may occur later.

Auditions

Interested BC members, both new and returning, are invited to audition for the Boulder Chamber Chorale each year in August. The auditions are designed to be friendly, casual and painless.
