Attachment 5 - Boulder County Regional Trails Priorities

The following is an excerpt from the Boulder County website:
Transportation Department Regional Trails

In the November, 2001 election, the citizens of Boulder County passed a 0.10% countywide transportation improvement sales and use tax. This seven-year tax will raise approximately $5 million per year to be spent on transportation improvements throughout Boulder County. In regards to regional trail development, the Boulder County Commissioners have earmarked approximately $4 million dollars within the tax for regional trail planning and development over the next seven years.

In April 2003, County Commissioners approved the list of Regional Trail Priorities developed through the work of the Boulder County Regional Trails Committee and the public. This list of ten trail connections will be the primary focus for regional trail projects over the next seven years.
