THE 1995 SCENARIO: "A LAW ENFORCEMENT RAID ON AN 'ILLEGAL
DRUG FACTORY' GOES BAD"
A multi-faceted scenario involving a simulated law enforcement
raid on an illegal drug "factory" will give a broad-scope
flavor to this year's event. In this scenario, major participation
will be afforded for Explorers of nearly all specialties and interests
who wish to participate. The scenario will unfold with an initial
attempted "raid" by law enforcement Explorers, on a
large illegal drug "factory" where numerous hazardous
chemicals are stored. The "bad guys" will resist arrest,
and fire on law enforcement officers, take hostages, and escape.
In the process, the hazardous chemicals will explode, causing
a fire and multiple casualties. The scenario will further evolve
into a pursuit of the escaped "bad guys," exchange of
gunfire, and additional casualties, and finally a rescue of the
hostages, arrest of the "bad guys," and control of the
explosion and fire, and triage and evacuation of multiple casualties.
