Background
At the Taos Community Networking Conference in May, 1996, an effort was launched to create an International Association for Community Networking (IACN), to
promote and support community networking in countries all over the world.
Participants
"IACN" currently consists of the following national efforts:
IACN Activities
IACN activities today include:
- Sharing and maintaining information about our national efforts, on an ongoing
basis, via this Web page, mailing lists, and any other media that are available
- Ongoing discussion on the cnet-international mailing list (contact me for more information on the list, and on subscribing)
- Sharing ideas about the structure of our Web sites, so links are as useful as possible
- Identifying and inviting others from other countries to participate in this
discussion, and provide information on their efforts, to be placed on the
Web page along with any appropriate links
- Beginning to discuss a collaboration with Telecommunities Canada on their 1997
conference.

It is hoped that International & National efforts will collaborate to provide th
