ROCV Committees Include:

Creative Arts
Provide educational enrichment programs, which feature guest authors, artists, or performers typically scheduled during school hours, often in an assembly format. These are curriculum extending activities.

After School Enrichment
Plan, organize and coordinate the running of after school programs such as chess club, mad science, pottery etc. Can be ongoing classes or one-time events.

Community Outreach
Work with our social worker to provide supplies and scholarships for students in need. Current activities include Giving Snowman, Homework Club, and field trip scholarships.

Grant Procurement
Writing grants to procure funds for programs that ROCV would like to sponsor. Some classes on this topic are available.

Grant Review
Evaluating all grant request forms submitted by Crest View teachers, staff or ROCV committees against the approved budget and current available funding.

Finance and Audit
Responsible for planning the annual budget and long term spending forecast for the organization.

Fund-Raising
Responsible for the planning and execution of all fundraising events for ROCV.

Silent Auction
Responsible for defining, planning and executing the annual auction usually held in February in conjunction with the Sock Hop.

Grounds
The Grounds committee organizes seasonal maintenance of the Crest View gardens, researches and identifies playground improvements, and any other grounds-related improvements.

Special Events
Each special event has its own committee, i.e. sock hop, pancake breakfast, spaghetti dinner.

Service Committees
Each of the services that ROCV provides has its own committee i.e. school pictures, yearbook, gift-wrap sales, book fairs, wreath sales etc.
