Boy Scout Troop 69

High Adventure Program

Troop 69 has a High Adventure program for older Scouts. We completed a 2 week-long trek at Philmont Scout Ranch photos in August 2002 and will return for another in the Summer, 2004. Links to Philmont Scout Ranch at http://www.philmont.com/ .

We have a trip planned for March 2003 to go to the Canyonlands in Utah for backpacking/biking and whitewater rafting trip completed in July 2003 at Rock Gardens in Glenwood Springs.

We completed a trip to the Northern Tier Canoe Base in Aug 1999, have plans to go to Catalina Island California Emerald Bay Scout Camp (2005) and have future plans to go to the Florida Sea Base in late 2005 or 2006. More information will appear here as those events get closer.

We have extensive rock climbing experience- having climbed in Eldorado Canyon, Southern Colorado and even done some ice climbing.
