Sister City Friendship Trip to Tokyo and Yamagata City

Do consider joining a delegation of Coloradons on a trip to picturesque, fascinating and friendly Japan. This trip coincides with the celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Colorado-Yamagata Prefecture/Sister State Relationship. The program is designed to provide participants with opportunities to experience the Japanese lifestyle, visit historical and cultural sites and, most importantly, to meet and interact with Japanese people. the primary emphasis will be on interpersonal exchanges with opportunities to discuss education, culture,social services, volunteerism and economic issues.

The trip is open to everyone

Dates:

November 8-17, 1996 (10 days)

We will spend 4 nights in Tokyo and 4 nights in Yamagata City with the first night being in a hotel and the last three nights as a homestay in each city.

Cost:

$2100 per person

Includes air fare from Denver to Narita, transportation in Japan, accomodations for 8 nights and most meals.
