WHAT SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE:
The Counseling Center at Front Range Community College is available to students and community members and is designed to provide services in Career Planning and Counseling, Educational Planning, and Personal Counseling/Referral Services. Our career counselors and career resources can help you identify career fields, research educational programs and get moving on a job search through:
DO I QUALIFY FOR HELP:
Open to anyone 18 or older.
WHO DO I CONTACT:
Prospective clients need to call the Counseling Department at Front Range Community College and schedule an appointment at 466-8811, Ext 550/551. Counselors encourage individuals to call and schedule an appointment so we can provide counseling services. Although walk-in services are available from 11-1 and 5-7 Monday through Thursday, prospective clients can expect very limited services during these times.
HOW DOES IT WORK:
Individuals can expect to receive counseling service which will enable them to explore options, gather information and establish a goal. Each individual has access to all of the services available from our staff and are welcome to use as much or as little of our services as they like. In addition, if a client decides to attend FRCC, the counselor will be able to explain the admission process.
WHAT ARE MY CHANCES FOR SUCCESS:
We provide services to approximately 6000 clients in a year. In addition we have an on-going evaluation process for all our counselors. The evaluation data indicates a high-level of satisfaction regarding services received by clients.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST:
Individual counseling and the use of the Career Resource
Center is free.
Career Planning Workshops: $15 students, $25 non- students
Career Interest and Personality Tests: $15 student, $25
non-student.
