Join us for our traditional Spring Warm Up Ride with a new twist! A special "Dust Off Ride" for those who wish to try out a ride. "Dust off" your bike, bring it over for some basic maintenance, then ride over to A-B Visitors Center for a rest and refreshments. This ride will be guided and will take place on the Spring Creek Bike Trail, then on county roads with wide shoulders and low traffic. Ideal for new cyclists, families, and "returning" cyclists! Our traditional 45 and 60 mile rides will be our favorite route from past years - East of I-25 to rural ranchland, then north to Wellington. The 60 mile ride will take you to Rawhide Power Plant and buffaloes.
Racing the coal-fired steam train from Durango to Silverton for 34 years has made this truly one of America's "classic" bicycle races. This stretch of the San Juan Skyway has grueling climbs and spine tingling descents that test the legs, lungs and stamina of every rider.
The date is June 4, 2006. The courses are as follows: Road, 100, 62, 50, 25. Off-road: 26, 12.
Join Bongo's 86 mile road bike adventure through Chaffee County's Arkansas Valley. Bicycle up Poncha Pass and then ride the back road to Buena Vista. The ride finishes in Salida with a splash down in the Salida Hot Pool.

Join Bacchus, the Roman god of wine, along with 1000 cyclists in celebrating this bicycle tour of Colorado's Wine Country. This 25-mile ride through the vineyards of the Western Slope gives the cyclists an opportunity to pass by the area's wineries, as well as acres of fruit orchards and vineyards. The "Festival in the Park" begins shortly after the ride concludes (11 am) and is an additional highlight to the day's activities.
Last year we held the First Annual Park Hill Family Bicycle Tour. We had nearly 150 ride our family-friendly 4.5-mile route through historic Park Hill, about half of whom were kids. We had five stops where kids got stamps to show they'd passed the check points. We gave away about 25 items from local businesses, everything from free haircuts to free night's stay at Radisson Stapleton to free flowers. We also raised money for our effort to make Park Hill a national historic district.
We're about to announce the Second Annual Park Hill Family Bicycle Tour for Saturday, June 14, which is the Saturday of Flag Day Weekend.
We are a non profit organization working to provide affordable housing opportunities to low-income families in the Denver area. Our ride, Bike for Beginnings, is a pledge ride that offers a Family Ride (1.5 miles per lap) and 25, 50, and 70 mile rides for more experienced riders. The ride starts from Monaco Park, 56th & Monaco in Commerce City. The date is Sunday, May 18, 2003.

The ride is the last Friday of every Month and meets at Civic Center Park (across from the Capital, near the seal fountain pool on the Colfax side of the park) The ride begins at 6:00 pm and will go through downtown Denver and end up at Auraria Campus.
The Kokopelli Mountain Bike Trail, the epic ride of a lifetime, the one you'll never forget. 142 miles of linked singletrack, jeep trail and retired wagon road traveling from Grand Junction to Moab, crossing an amazing and untainted part of the desert southwest. Bikerpelli is a fully-supported event covering just under 50 miles per day. Waiting for us at the halfway point every day is a water & lunch stop, and at the end of each day, a fresh camp. All of your camping gear will be shuttled from camp to camp by our support drivers, and includes all meals & support while in-camp and a return shuttle from Moab to Loma.

The beautiful BVBF century route goes North to Leadville, Co, along the scenic rolling hills of Turquoise Lake Road, around the Mineral Belt Trail, meandering through the historic Leadville Mining District and back to Buena Vista. Century, 40 miles, 50 miles and a "metic century" (62 miles).
The 2005 Ride The Rockies bicycle tour is June 19-25. Route and registration information will be available starting Sunday, February 6, 2005.
The Denver Post Ride The Rockies is an annual bicycle tour that takes 2,000 cyclists on a 6-7 day ride on paved roads through Colorado's Rocky Mountains each June.
The Ride The Rockies route is different each year, but always climbs a few challenging mountain passes and showcases Colorado's spectacular scenery. Daily rides can be as short as 35 miles or as long as 100 miles, but generally average 60-65 miles.
Ride The Rockies is conducted on a lottery basis.
2004 Ride The Rockies registration fee cost $270. Your fee includes camping space, rest rooms and showers, transportation of one bag during the tour, Ride The Rockies cycling jersey, water bottle, tour map book, shuttle transportation in host communities, Wells Fargo Stage Stop Aid Stations, bike repair vans, sag vehicles and medical support on the tour route.

Cycle for SET is an annual fundraising event for SET of Colorado Springs. It is a non-competitive bike ride that offers various length routes along the Monument Valley Trail system for everyone, including a 5-mile route intended for families with children under 10 years of age, a 10-mile route for families with children 11 years of age and older, and, 15 and 25-mile routes combining the other two routes, for more enthusiastic riders. Aid stations are located along the way to provide refreshments and assistance.
The Escape Ride 2005 will be Southern Colorado AIDS Project's (S-CAP) sixth annual bicycle ride. This year, we will guide you through the hills, valleys, forests, and plains of Colorado's scenic Chaffee county. This year, we will offer long (70-100 miles) and short routes (30-50 miles) to make the Escape Ride accessible to novice riders, yet challenging for experienced riders. This year follows previous year's successful plan to use one location as a central hub.

Map will be furnished. each day is approx 60 miles. Ride starts at the top of Cerro Summit and goes to Ouray. Overnite in Ouray, Return to Montrose day 2 over Log Hill Mesa. This ride is on dirt/gravel roads. Course will not be closed to vehicle trafic during the ride.

The beautiful century route goes North to Leadville, along the scenic rolling hills of Turquoise Lake Road, around the Mineral Belt Trail passing aspen groves and conifer forests, meandering through the historic Leadville Mining District, and back to Buena Vista in the shadows of Colorado's highest mountain peaks. Nearly all of the climbing is completed over the first 60 miles of the ride, with the last 40 miles essentially downhill to flat! Riders also have options to take shorter routes including a 40 miler, a 50 miler, and a metric century (62 miles) while still enjoying the Collegiate Peaks magnificent scenery.
Come with us on Santa Fe's 20th Annual Century Ride. A hundred miles of history pass under your wheels as you cycle down the ancient Turquoise Trail through the old mining towns of Madrid and Golden, across the mineral rich Ortiz and San Pedro Mountains, across the Estancia Valley through the villages of Cedar Grove and Stanley and on to the very old but now "IN" village of Galisteo, and 100 miles after you start, wheel back into Old Santa Fe. In addition there are 25, 50, & 75 miles "out and back" to Eldorado, Galisteo, and Stanley respectively. Also, there is an easy 50 mile ATB loop with only 6 miles of country dirt road.
The Community Classic Bike Tour of Northern Colorado is a non-competitive, multi-distance bicycle tour through the beautiful foothills of Larimer County. It's a fun-filled ride that brings together family, friends, co-workers and the biking community in a fund raising event that anyone can enjoy. The money raised is used right here in Larimer County to help support the Chronic Care Dispensary program at the Children's Clinic and the Healthy Beginnings Prenatal Program.
"Mission to Ride is a one day fully supported charity bike event. The Mission to Ride provides various routes ranging from 30 to one hundred miles. This year we also provide a mountain bike route option. Some routes travel through the beautiful Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. (A) 100 miles of pure Colorado, including an extremely smooth /groomed 20 mile section of dirt (easy on any road bike) along the Colorado River to Dotsero. S/F at Beaver Creek Resort, follow Highway 6 to Wolcott, climb 131 toward Steamboat, drop into State Bridge, then left on the Colorado River Road to Dotsero. Final leg follows Eagle River back to Beaver Creek in Avon.

The "BBC" will begin and end on the Boulder campus near Folsom Field. We anticipate more than 1,500 pledge riders to sign up for 32, 65, or 100-mile rides. Riders will enjoy beautiful city and county roads that wind around Carter Lake in Larimer County and back. An estimated 2,000 people will be involved in the event, which will include University staff, volunteers, members of the community, and rider families. There will be a special after-ride celebration, with entertainment, rider/sponsor recognition, and a pasta buffet and beer (bring picture ID). New this year will be custom bike jerseys, which can be ordered from this web site.
This one-day bicycle pledge ride will support scholarships for the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado at Boulder. The highly successful 2003 inaugural year included 900 riders. $50,000 was added to the College's student scholarship fund.
What is a Brevet? An ultra-marathon, RAAM-style event conducted under the auspices of the International Randonneurs. Distances must be completed within a specified time limit, and checkpoints and some night riding can be invoved.
