The MS 150 Bike Tour is a fully supported, two day 150 mile bicycle tour to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Join 2500 fellow cyclists on a tour of north-central Colorado's peaks and plains. Regardless of your level of training, there is an option for you. The Tour will start in Longmont with the regular route heading west through Lyons, then up St. Vrain Canyon to Estes Park for lunch. After lunch, you will ride down Big Thompson Canyon to Loveland, where you can grab a shuttle, or ride the Century option all the way to the overnight on the campus of UNC in Greeley.
If you want to ride the short, flat route, you will head north to Loveland, then ride east to the overnight at UNC in Greeley for a 50 mile total. New for 1998 is the " assisted" option on Day 1. This lets lesser-trained riders hitch a ride up the big hill, and ride primarily on the flat or downhill sections for a total of 75 miles.
Day Two will see all riders leaving Greeley, riding past the south end of Fort Collins to Masonville, then turning south for the return to the Start site in Longmont.
