Note: These supplies are needed all year, so please replenish if necessary. If you have questions about any of the items listed, please have your student ask his/her teachers during the first days of the school year. Individual teachers will be happy to clarify which supplies are needed for classes, and they do not expect students to have all supplies by the first week. If you need financial assistance for purchasing supplies, please contact the Summit office at 303-499-9511.
To keep papers and assignments organized, we suggest that students have one morning and one afternoon binder, in different colors, with dividers in each.
Copy of Writers INC by Sebranek, Meyer, and Kemper, one binder w/at least 3 dividers
Colored pencils and binder with 1" dividers and 2 pockets
Set of notebook dividers, 3 ring binder, German-English dictionary -- Langenscheidt or Cassells (paperback - small enough to carry easily), red pens, index cards, graph paper, dry erase markers(replenish all year)
3-ring binder with binder paper, subject dividers OR section of larger binder, red pen (replenish all year), dry erase marker (replenish all year)
Spanish-English dictionary: small Langenscheidt recommended, though others OK
Dry erase markers (low odor); extra pencils and eraser, as these tend to disappear!
Spiral notebook, 120 pages maximum, with plastic cover and at least two pockets, large supply of wooden pencils and small sharpener with container for shavings, OR at least two refillable mechanical pencils with a large supply of extra lead, large eraser and ruler. (No calculators will be used in these courses.)
One-subject spiral notebooks - plastic cover, with pocket for loose papers, ¼" graph paper, ruler (inches and centimeters), protractor, compass, scientific calculator - not required until second semester; teacher will explain what is needed.

Notebook with pockets (not a binder), a compass that work well, protractor, triangle (no calculator needed).
Same as Proof Geometry supplies plus graph paper, a graphing calculator or access to one. (note: Summit has 6 graphing calculators for use in the classroom or to loan)
2 boxes disposable latex/rubber gloves with fingers that fit, a hole punch (small enough to carry in backpack) for Science handouts in notebook, e.g. with black marbled cover (will use this same notebook throughout 3 years).
Separate 2" ring binder OR 2" section in AM or PM binder, dedicated-no spirals, calculator, 1 box colored marker for posters (thick Crayola ones are good), 1 pad graph paper, (no new composition notebook).
2-3" binder or accordion file, (no spirals, no new composition notebook), calculator w/scientific notation and exponents.

½" 3-ring binder, hard cover preferred, with 4 dividers, pencils, blue (or black) 1 green pen, set of colored pencils, highlighter and lined composition notebook (e.g. with black marbled cover; composition notebook not needed in World Geography), Sharpie marker, and notebook paper.
1 8x10 sketchbook with 40 - 60 unlined pages (not a sketchpad).
