Laura Dreilich is the director of the Boulder Chorale, the Boulder Chorale Ensemble, and the Colorado Music Festival Chorus. She is also the choir director at Sacred Heart of Jesus church. Ms. Dreilich is the founding director of the Sterling Heights Chorale, a Michigan-based professional vocal ensemble now recording the choral works of American composer Conrad Susa. Ms. Dreilich holds degrees in musicology, and flute performance, as well as instrumental and choral conducting from the University of Michigan and Oakland University. Dreilich has held posts at the University of Colorado, University of Michigan, Detroit Symphony, Chicago Lyric Opera, and the Interlochen Arts Academy. She is currently pursuing the degree of Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Colorado under the direction of Drs. Lynn Whitten, Joan Colon, and Lawrence Kaptein.
