WOMEN'S CHORALE World Music Concert tickets go on sale starting tonight, Tuesday, April 4th from 6:50 to 7:00 and during break from 8:00-8:15. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for those 65 and older and $1 for children 12 and under. Be sure to reserve your tickets early!

NEXT WEEK!!! MACKY TICKET SALES start on April 11th, a week from now. Let's Fill the House! You'll be able to check out tickets for 4 consecutive weeks: April 11, April 18, April 25 and May 2, with proceeds due back on May 2nd. If every member sold 5 tickets, we could have 750 people attending our 40th Anniversary Concert, a great start towards Filling the House!

Look for flyers to hand out to your colleagues and friends at the ticket sales table each week. There will be 3 price ranges of tickets available, starting at $10.00.

INVITATIONS: Grab an invitation and please come to the April 30th Gala. Bring a friend! RSVP's are due by 4/25. Return them either by mail or to the silver RSVP box at rehearsals.

THE GALA: Our goal is to be surrounded by 250 people at this gala evening celebrating our 40th anniversary at the St Julien Hotel. We hope you all come for a fun night of great jazz, good food, a champagne toast, a few surprises, the Community Birthday Card and entertainment by your fellow Chorale members! Remember it doesn’t have to cost you a thing if you approach 3 businesses for birthday card messages….

BIRTHDAY CARD: Please keep taking envelopes for Birthday Card messages from potential contributors. For $40 dollars, companies can support our fine organization and their business gets a 4.25 x 5.5 inch advertisement space. So it’s community goodwill as well as great exposure.

TALLY: Community Birthday Card Messages received to date: 17 (as of 4/2/06)

FILL THE HOUSE WITH A JOYOUS CHORUS!! A huge part of our success lies on our ability to fill our concerts with an audience. The next concert is the Women’s Chorale on April 28th and of course the Anniversary Concert on May 6th. How thrilling would it be to sing to a full house at Macky!!

Beginning next Tuesday, 11 April, I will be collecting names of those interested in helping with the risers and ushers for the Women's Chorale performance on Friday, 28 April: Ushers for performance night only at First Baptist Church, Boulder. Riser crew for Wednesday, 26 April and teardown after the performance. Thanks, as always, for terrific support from all involved!

Thursday, May 4: rehearsal for orchestra, Women's Chorale, and Chamber Chorale

Friday, May 5: rehearsal for orchestra and Boulder Chorale.

The Annual Meeting of the Boulder Chorale will be held on MONDAY, May 8, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in their Jubilee Hall (lower level). It includes our usual end-of-the-season festivities, a pot luck supper, recognition of honorees, and the annual business meeting, which includes the election of Board members. Please let JoAn or Elsbeth know if you might be interested in a Board position.
