Welcome to the Second Semester of the Boulder Chorale's 40th Year! Attendance procedures and records will begin in all three chorales on Jan. 17th. Please review the Attendance Policy that includes the Appeals Process as stated in your Membership Handbook. In addition, the chorale's Board of Directors is requesting that all appeals, upon the third absence from any chorale's rehearsals, include the reasons for the three absences and be written/e-mailed to me. Thank you for your attention to the chorale's Attendance Policies and Procedures. You should address your respective Section Steward with your attendance concerns and issues, and their names and home phone numbers are given below. Or, please contact me; my home phone number is given above.

CONCRATULATIONS to Kim & Caitlin for a terrific Cabaret Show on Saturday night! Despite a Bronco’s game, the house was pretty full! The evening was an unqualified success and full of laughter, good company and wonderful song. We laughed, we cried but in the end, did a stuffed animal steal the show!? And how terrific was it to see so many present (and former!) Chorale members sitting with friends in the audience!

THANK YOU all for coming. Please also thank Kim & Caitlin for their time to prepare and produce this evening. Their generosity of spirit delivers the Chorale the proceeds of a successful fundraising evening. A full report on ‘what we made’ will be available soon.

MISSED THE CABARET? CDs of the Cabaret evening will be available for $10. Each CD is full of the wonderful songs from Kim and Caitlin (and Sarah, the bassist). To place an order, please bring cash or a check payable to ‘Far and Away Studios’ to rehearsal this week. Order forms will be available in the lobby and payment accepted during break.

THANK YOU! Special thanks to all the terrific Chorale members who volunteered and made the Cabaret evening run so smoothly. It’s such a pleasure to work with y’all! Tickets for the Chorale outing to the Boulder Dinner Theatre to see "The King and I" will be on sale Tuesday. See Esri Albritten, Alto (I'll introduce her to all of you) during the break. Tickets in the center are $42 and on the side $37.75. The date is Sunday, March 19, 2006 at 6:15. Make checks payable to Boulder Dinner Theatre.

The Boulder Chorale Tour Planning Task Force has been researching tour companies and destinations for our 2007 concert tour. As part of our research, we would like input from chorale members. We will be passing out Tour Interest Surveys during break at the Jan. 17 rehearsal. Please help us with our planning by filling it out and returning it no later than January 24th. THANK YOU!!
