Background

The outdoors offers a variety of learning opportunities. In this exercise, we will observe first hand the riparian environment around their adopted waterway. This walk will help us fill in information on our watershed maps and provide the opportunity to compare and revise the watershed maps with the real environment.

Students preparing for this activity will need to return signed permission slips to the teacher for the fieldtrip. In addition the Student Worksheet will need to be printed out to take into the field.
