Mock Disaster 99 - Law Enforcement Branch

Branch Commander: (To be determined)

S.W.A.T. Commander: Eric Cain

Patrol Commander: Wilton Washington

Uniformed Officers -

During the exercise, Explorers representing police officers in uniform will respond to the scene and set up a perimeter as well as providing assistance for victims. Another role for the officers will be controlling the scene by preventing by-standards from getting in the way. If the "bad guys" try to escape, the perimeter officers are there to stop them!

Security -

For the exercise there may be a few security guards on the scene when the "bad guys" try to do their thing. Their purpose is to assist the authorities in a resolution to the situation.

S.W.A.T. -

The Special Weapons And Tactics team has the job of resolving the hostage situation which occurs during the incident. Their objective is the safe release of the hostages and a "non-violent" resolution to the situation (during the exercise lasers will likely be used to simulate gunfire, no actual violence takes place). However, if the "bad guys" want to put up a fight, S.W.A.T. will be ready!
