Gina Simmering moving out of Heatherwood, and therefore can no longer be Secretary. Joe will ask Cindy Lawson to replace.

Mike Jacobsen has not responded; assume he has quit.

Tania Sizer (the new newsletter editor) invited to attend, but is sick.

There are 8 people on the Board.

Treasurer Report

Have approx. $5,000 cash in bank. Have collected approx. $2500 in Year 2001 dues so far.

Possible Projects (bike lanes lower priority than trimming or benches)

Tree trimming – no project mgr yet; Joe to call Jolene Rodastis and/or Lynn Campbell, ask if she is willing to head project; will coordinate with Rod and Scott.

Bike lanes – est. cost is $2800 for entire length of both sides of Heatherwood Drive.

Bus stop benches (4) – Rod to scout out bench locations, Joe to write spec.* and submit to possible contractors. Joe to get list of possible contractors in Heatherwood.

Serving seniors – Susie is project mgr, and will send Tania newsletter article.

HOA Sponsored Seminars

These are HOA meetings followed by guest speaker.

Possible topics: Remodeling, Asbestos, Aluminum Wiring, Financial Planning, Energy Conservation, Lightning

Joe to call Sandra Jambor for first seminar, on gardening.

* Prospective Spec

Bench should be attached to concrete footers, approx. 12 inches deep.

Anchored to ground enough to prevent theft, but enable future move.

Benches shoujld be mainteance free and weather resistant.

Benches should seat 4 people and have back rest.

Work complete by June 1, 2001.
