"Aluminum O2 and SCBA tanks should be hydrotested every five years (DOT regulation), and replaced after 3 tests, or before 15 years from purchase (reference?). Composite SCBA should be hydrotested every three years (DOT reg).  Once hydrotested, tanks need to be refilled."
