Major Provisions: Passage of these two measures would result in wording changes to the Broomfield City Charter. In order to comply with recent changes in state law the words "registered elector" will be substituted for "qualified elector" in certain sections and the word "elector" will be redefined. In the sections of the city charter pertaining to collection of signatures for an initiative or referendum, wording is changed to put the words "total voters who cast ballots" in place of the words "total vote cast."
