Aardvark Compouter Service, LTD--Donates motherboards and other computer components to area schools. Call first. Alpha Institute--Distributes 486 or better computers to non-profits. They will pick up equipment. AnotheR BytE, Inc.--Accepts a wide variety of hardware to refurbish and distribute to low-income students and American Indians in the Southwest Colorado Materials Exchange--Distributes non-hazardous and durable goods to organizations in their on-line database. Boulder, CO. Computer Recycling Center--Provides donated computers to students in California. Computer Re-Use Network--California based non-profit that distributes computers to other non-profits Computers for Families--Distributes donated computers to the poor Computers for Kids--Distributes donated computers directly to kids in need, and some hardware to organizations. Computers for Learning--Surplus federal government computer equipment is donated to schools and educational non-profits. Disabled American Veterans--Accepts donated computers and parts to sell in its five thrift stores around the state. Gifts in Kind International--Accepts hardware and software to distribute to non-profits nationwide. Houston-area school and charities. Nyx Net--Provides a free internet service and distributes to people with disabilities and those in need due to income. PC Donate and Retrofit Clearinghouse (PCDAR)--Refurbishes donated equipment and distributes to non-profits in Texas. Provider's Resource Clearinghouse--Technology Recycling Project collects computer donations, then refurbishes and distributes them to non-profits on a discounted, per-item-fee basis. Share the Technology--Offer a donation by entering it into the national database that can be accessed by non-profits everywhere TeamTech-Collects and refurbishes computers to distribute to non-profits.
