John Lennon
1967
What more could we ask of our friends than a little help? Most of the time we don't want or need advice, nor do we want or need someone to do things for us. We just need their assurance that our judgement is sound, and that they will be there when we need that little extra support. And, what more can we offer our friends than a little help? Is it our place to break trail for our friends, robbing them of the pleasure of accomplishment? Or is it better to remain close by, ready to quickly and selflessly lend a helping hand. If your help goes unmentioned, it may not have gone unnoticed.
