What TekMatch Is

The BCN Technical Volunteer Consultant Matching Service provides technical assistance through volunteer Information Technology consultatns to Boulder County non-profit organizations and educational institutions.

BCN lessens the gap by assessing a client organizations's resources and computing/information processing needs. Then, we match those needs to the skills of those in our computer professional volunteer pool. Our volunteers are trained to make recommendations and provide assistance that is affordable and sustainable for a given organization.


BCN Volunteers Are...

  • skilled people willing to share their knowledge about computers and the internet.
  • professionals, senior citizens, youth, and everyday people with an inter est in technology.
  • registered with BCN and are screened by the Volunteer Coordinator.
  • trained through an orientation about BCN and Tekmatch services.

How It Works

  1. Contact the BCN Project Coordinator
  2. Review, Sign and Return the TekMatch Contract with the nonrefundable $50 administrative fee
  3. The coordinator will assess your organization's needs and outline the basic project with you.
  4. A BCN volunteer will be recruited to manage the project.
  5. The volunteer will contact your organization to begin work on the project.
  6. The organization will be sent periodic billings for time put into the project.
  7. At the end or any time during the project an organization may fill out a TekMatch Survey. call or e-mail staff directly. We appreciate your feedback.
  8. BCN staff will contact your organization to follow up on the project.


Fee Scale

All projects include analysis, assistance, and evaluation for a $50 nonrefundable administration fee and a $25 hourly rate.

*All fees are subject to review and adjustment by BCN staff.
