What TekMatch Is
The BCN Technical Volunteer Consultant Matching Service provides
technical
assistance through volunteer Information Technology consultatns to
Boulder County non-profit organizations
and
educational institutions.
BCN lessens the gap by assessing a client
organizations's resources and computing/information processing needs.
Then, we match those needs to the skills of those in our computer
professional volunteer pool. Our volunteers are trained to make
recommendations and provide assistance that is affordable and sustainable
for a given organization.
BCN Volunteers Are...
- skilled people willing to share their knowledge about computers and the
internet.
- professionals, senior citizens, youth, and everyday people with an inter
est in technology.
- registered with BCN and are screened by the Volunteer Coordinator.
- trained through an orientation about BCN and Tekmatch services.

How It Works
- Contact the BCN Project Coordinator
- Review, Sign and Return the
TekMatch
Contract with the nonrefundable $50 administrative fee
- The coordinator will assess your organization's needs and outline
the basic project with you.
- A BCN volunteer will be recruited to manage the project.
- The volunteer will contact your organization to begin work on
the project.
- The organization will be sent periodic billings for time put into the
project.
- At the end or any time during the project an organization may fill out
a TekMatch Survey. call or
e-mail staff directly. We appreciate
your feedback.
- BCN staff will contact your organization to follow up on the
project.
Fee Scale
All projects include analysis, assistance, and evaluation for a $50
nonrefundable administration fee and a $25 hourly rate.
*All fees are subject to review and adjustment by BCN staff.
