Biomarkers for EHS, MCS: Treatments

5G from Space

In 2009, a Dr. Dominique Belpomme, who had a long professional career as France's leading cancer expert, convened a research section under the Association on Treatment Against Cancer (ARTAC), to research the health conditions EHS (electromagnetic hypersensitivity) and MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity) with the goal of finding unique and reliable biomarkers that identify the health conditions. The results were reviewed in the January newsletter.

Since then, ARTAC has, based on those biomarkers, developed medical treatments that have helped many people. A formal scientific paper has not yet been written, but interim results have been posted on the EHS-MCS website and Dr. Belpomme has given interviews to several media outlets around Europe. The following is based on that information.

For a review, ARTAC isolated the following biomarkers -

From these biomarkers, ARTAC group developed a standard medical treatment. Based on the results of the detailed biochemistry and imaging examinations, each patient was given a treatment that includes administration of -

The biomarkers study noted that melatonin was often depleted; but from the current treatments they said that melatonin supplementation was not "effective for treating insomnia."

This protocol was reported to be effective enough to cause regression of the intolerance symptoms in some 60% - 70% of both EHS and MCS cases over some 800 patients.

Especially notable was the fact that the brain blood reperfusion recovered in some 80 % of the cases after receiving the standard treatment.

This protocol helped many patients improve their quality of life by reducing intolerance symptoms both clinically and biologically. Some patients reported returning to an almost normal social life; some even able to hold down a job.

Some inconsistencies in the treatments led the researchers to distinguish between symptomatic intolerance and hypersensitivity. The intolerance symptoms decrease and even disappear in patients under the standard treatment; however the standard treatment did not not alleviate the hypersensitivity itself.

Dr. Belpomme has also sponsored professional conferences in Brussels in 2015 and 2017 that presented the results of these biomarker studies with the goal of developing a presentation to the World Health Organization (WHO) to encourage them to revise their dreadful characterization of EHS and MCS as "idiopathic" which has discouraged a lot of of acceptance of the health conditions.

Another common theme in these European studies is a concern for "early onset Alzheimer's" where a person develops the symptoms of Alzheimer's in their mid-thirties. Apparently this health condition is becoming common in Europe. And EHS is considered a pre-cursor to Alzheimer's.

Discussion -

These studies and the treatments based on them support a conceptual model for EHS and MCS that has been developing for the past fifteen years or so. It amounts to a weakness or injury to parts of the blood brain barrier that allows external chemicals (for MCS) or internal body chemicals (for EHS) to circulate into, and cause injury to the limbic or thalamic sections of the brain. Those areas are considered the "ancient brain" that developed some two billion years ago in geologic time when organisms only had to cope with simple decay products instead of the some 90,000 chemicals in our modern society.

Note that the High Sensitivity C Reactive Protein, Histamine, Protein S100B, Nitrotyosine, HSP 27 and HSP 70 Heat shock proteins, and Anti-O-myelin autoantibody biomarkers all amount to the body having a reaction to some kind of aggravation or injury. The lack of a response to melatonin supplementation is surprising because melatonin turns out to have many low-level healing properties beyond its role in supporting the circadian rhythm. Such as anti-cancer, DNA repair, maintenance of the mitochondria membranes, and supporting other neuro-regenerative processes. So there is the possibility that the body is diverting the melatonin to try and fix whatever is causing the many bio-markers.

Melatonin, in high doses, has been helpful in treating several health issues. People with MCS have found that a high-dose (some 50 mg) taken after an exposure helped them recover overnight. An urologist gives breast cancer patients some 100 mg a night; apparently it helps. Reviews of the melatonin literature are now saying that everyone, starting in their middle years, should supplement with melatonin on an ongoing basis for its neuroprotective, heart, and anti-cancer benefits.

Another concern mentioned in the European medical literature is a form of Alzheimer's disease called "early onset Alzheimer's." This condition is considered to be possibly caused by EMR exposure. Since some of the biomarkers for EHS are the same for Alzheimer's, Dr. Belpomme considers EHS as precursor for Alzheimer's.

But there is also a genetic condition, a deficiency in a variant of the APOE gene, that causes Alzheimer's in young people around age 30 and is also called "early onset Alzheimer's." No mention is made about which condition they are talking about. Nevertheless, with some 8 - 10 percent of Europeans having some degree of EHS and projections suggesting as much as 50 percent in a few years, this is an area of concern.

Dr. Belpomme's work is giving us more and more of a physical basis for recognizing and developing effective medical support for these health conditions. He is also trying to improve the political attitudes about EHS and MCS. He is also raising concerns about the long-term consequences, especially EHS.

From Cell Phone Task Force -

Dear Friends,

The Santa Fe Alliance for Public Health and Safety filed a lawsuit against the City of Santa Fe in federal court on January 11. The Alliance includes doctors, health care practitioners, psychotherapists, artists, teachers, a Health Department official, a city planner, a world class athlete and others who have lost jobs and homes to cell towers, or who have patients who have lost jobs and homes to cell towers. We are asking the court to declare Santa Fe's 5G ordinance unconstitutional, and to rule that neither the State of New Mexico nor the U.S. government may prohibit a city from protecting its citizens. As far as I know, this is the only litigation of its kind in the United States at the present time.

5G FROM SPACE

One week ago, Elon Musk announced an audacious plan to launch 12,000 low-orbit satellites "to beam an ultrafast, lag-free Internet connection" to every square inch of the earth. They will contain PHASED ARRAY ANTENNAS and will operate in the MILLIMETER WAVE SPECTRUM. In other words, 5G FROM SPACE. The first two test satellites were launched on a Falcon 9 rocket yesterday. News reports say "The initial satellites in the network are expected to come online next year."

Each satellite will be the size of a mini-refrigerator and weigh about 400 kg. 4,425 satellites will be at an altitude of about 700 miles and 7,518 satellites will be at an altitude of only 210 miles.

To give you an idea of just how radical of an assault this will be, as of September 2017 there were a grand total of 1,738 operating satellites in orbit. About 930 of them were in low orbit (less than 1,000 miles above the earth). None of them were lower than 400 miles in altitude. Only 208 low orbit satellites were used for communication. Only 125 (Iridium and Globalstar) were for cell phone service. None of them provided high speed data. None of them were phased arrays.

The earth has never experienced anything like this. Even if Musk's Falcon Heavy rocket could launch 100 of these satellites at a time, which is likely, that still means 120 rocket launches. If he wants to get them all up there in a year's time, that's one launch every three days. And there are at least ten other companies that want to launch thousands of satellites each to do the same thing. OneWeb plans to launch the first ten of its planned 2,400 satellites in May.

The earth's protective ozone layer is still being depleted, scientists have just discovered, even though everyone thought the problem was solved by the Montreal Protocol. With so many rockets blasting holes in the atmosphere these days, that could be the reason. But nobody is talking about it.

The most current satellite database, kept by the Union of Concerned Scientists, is here:

Musk's scheme alone could cause a catastrophic ozone loss, and it could also destroy all life on the planet. Musk's project is called Starlink.

GUARDS (Global Union Against Radiation Deployment from Space will have a teleconference this Sunday to discuss what to do.
