Taught by the Phoenix Quartet

Pre-requisites:

• Violin - Book 7 and above
• Cello - Book 5 and above
• Viola - Book 4 and above
• Students 12 years and up with strong reading skills and teacher recommendation are also eligible.

All students are required to send in an audio or video tape of their playing.

Non-Suzuki students welcome! Must be 12 years and up with strong reading skills and teacher recommendation.

Students may attend with their already formed chamber groups or as an individual. Individuals will be placed in chamber groups according to age and ability levels.
Music will be selected specifically for each chamber group and e- mailed to individuals ahead of time. Students are expected to be familiar with their individual parts before classes begin.

Advanced String Chamber Camp will be in the same building as student classes but will operate on their own schedule, and will begin classes Monday morning. Participants will work exclusively with members of the Phoenix Quartet throughout the week in large and small groups with their ensemble.

The week will end with a final chamber performance on Friday afternoon. This is one of the highlights of PPSI!
