follow up fire & water

Oops I didn't mean to copy Marks message again. Mark this is still the major challenge re. the forum idea, getting users of the web site to start or join in a discussion. I wonder if either of the previous suggestions would work. Determining a list of discussion topics that we think might be of interest to our user public, inviting one or more experts to start the discussion out and to be there as resources and publizing the forum and topic on the home page.

Also might on the web page request users to tell us what topics they are most interested in having a facilitated, expert resource discussion on. Again call some notice on the home page to get them to it.

What do you think?

Regarding the fire and water issue, what I'mn interested in knowing is what kind of building and landscape restrictions we have on new and old residences in the mountains? Does anyone know if we have either a state or county fire code for mountain properties? Something similar to fire codes in buildings to protect life and property.
