This is Alison from Guam,
just wanted to tell you all a little bit about myself. I am 15 right now,
turning 16 December 5. My twin brother is going to be participating in the
jamboree with the American boy scouts. I have only been in a venture crew for a
year. My favorite hobbies are acting, dancing, meeting people, and learning
about other people and cultures. I was in soccer for a while a few years ago. I
also did a bit of ballet and jazz, it was a blast. Haven’t done much lately
though. I am a vegetarian I am still not sure how I became one, it was by choice,
but I am not sure what brought me to become one. Uumm.. I think that's about
it.

The only bad part about going to Thailand
for me is that I miss a crucial part of ski season. Skiing is my life. I
ski race for NJ and am on Ski Patrol at my home mountain Hidden Valley (NJ)
<- yes there is skiing in NJ. I've skied up and down the East coast and in
Utah and Canada (Tremblant and Blackcomb are my favorites there). Aside from
skiing, I am a high school senior at an engineering academy in NJ. I like to juggle
and to be involved in theater. I directed a play this fall, and have been
working on my fire-juggling skills for the senior talent show. Occasionally I
sleep, but usually I just spend the rest of my time doing things with my
computer (web pages/burning CDs/capturing video). Corny Joke of the Day: Why
did the bicycle fall over? It was two tired.

My name is Caylin Gentile. I'm 14 and as you can see I just recently started Venturing. I like soccer, volleyball, and dance. I'm in 9th grade at Castro Valley High School and love all sorts of music like hip hop, R&B, Rap, Puck, and little bit of pop. I'm an active person and I can't wait to meet you all. I don't have that much experience as the rest of you but since my brothers are in Boy Scouts I know quite a bit about camping and hiking. Both of my brothers are going to the World Jamboree so I wanted to go. I hope we'll all have a great with each other and have a wonderful experience.

hiking, camping, fire, mischief, sports, and paintballing. I’ve been to
Philmont, Northern Tier, and the recent national jamboree and I’m really
looking forward to the world jamboree. I'm a little freaked out by all
the emails that we've been getting about all the dangers of Thailand, but
oh well. I listen to rock / alternative music. I really want to
meet people from all over the world, and I kind of want to see about sneaking
into the bunji jumping skydiving activity, if they're offering it. I know
a little Spanish.

England! I have lived in 7 states and have moved 9 times,
but this is my first time outside of the U.S.A.. I like:
dancing, singing, swimming, writing and reading poetry, being outside, art
of all kinds, music, creating stuff (arts and crafts, and making my own
clothes), and getting into deep discussions!!! Other stuff:
Fav. colors: blue and yellow, extracurricular activities: swim lessons, girl
scouts, ventures, cub scout helper, poet, musician (flutist) and artist.
