In such a wild and beautiful place as the Boulder area, it is natural to challenge the elements and ourselves in the great outdoors. Being out and about enjoying the beauty of Boulder and all of Colorado puts us in touch with the environmental dynamics of the region.Yet there are inherent dangers in daily interactions with the forces of nature, from lightning strikes to water-borne diseases.

However, with everyone's preparedness and consideration we can all share in the beauty and enjoy the place we call home...the Rockies!
